Six master's students from the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) have been selected as 2024 Dow Sustainability Fellows. They are among 32 students from 12 U-M schools and colleges who will receive tuition and funding to develop sustainability leadership.
The SEAS students are Justin Thompson, Yi Wang, Emily Brent, Maryam Syed (dual-degree student at the School of Social Work), Mackenzie Mock (dual-degree student at the Ross School of Business), and Jamie Brackman (dual-degree student at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning).
Each Dow Sustainability Fellow will receive a $25,000 stipend, as well as supplementary project funding, sustainability professional development opportunities, and practical experience working on a team with an external organizational partner.
The Dow Sustainability Fellows Program is supported by Dow and administered by the U-M Graham Sustainability Institute.
