Getting Around

Ann Arbor Area Transit Authority (AAATA) buses run through campus and across town. AATA buses are free for students to ride with a U-M ID card. The University of Michigan has its own buses that only run on campus.
Metered parking is available on the street and in surface parking lots all over campus and in cashier-attended City of Ann Arbor structures on South Forest and Maynard Streets.
Designated visitor parking is available in the Palmer Visitor Parking Structure and other University lots. Check signs posted at the entrances to the lots. To learn more about parking on campus, visit U-M Logistics, Transportation & Parking.
