Congratulations to Lisa DuRussel (BS '02, MLA '06), an assistant professor of practice at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability, who was named a 2024 award winner by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA). DuRussel, one of 13 faculty and student awardees, is the recipient of the Excellence in Service Learning (Junior) award. She will be honored in March at an awards dinner and reception held at CELA's annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri.

CELA Awards honor faculty for excellence in teaching, research, creativity, and design innovation, while students are recognized for creative scholarship and research.
