About Sustainability Assist
Sustainability Assist is a rolling, rapid response technical assistance program that provides community-based organizations with up to 100 hours of subject matter expertise from U-M SEAS Detroit Sustainability Clinic experts. We provide research, analysis, strategic advice and decision support to help communities start, improve or expand their sustainability and climate action efforts. We offer multiple solutions that reflect current sustainability, climate action and environmental justice best practices, and we can connect organizations with additional resources, as needed.
The Clinic launched this program in January 2025, and is working with two Detroit-based organizations in the winter 2025 term. More information about these two projects, and details on how to apply for the Sustainability Assist program, will be available on this page soon. Stay tuned!
