Shuhaib Nawawi
Shuhaib is interested in deep decarbonization. He worked as a research assistant for the Building Standards internal analysis team for UM President's Commission on Carbon Neutrality. As a 2020 Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps Fellow, he guided a non-profit affordable housing developer in reducing embodied carbon from its building portfolio. Prior to pursuing PhD, Shuhaib worked as a business development executive for a global energy company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he developed business cases for solar and energy storage installations at the companies' oil and gas sites.
