EVENT: Co-hosted by the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability and the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers, the 2023 Great Lakes Compact Symposium will feature a discussion of the past, present and future of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact on the compact's 15th anniversary.
The event will include three panel discussions focusing on the development, passage and future of the compact. The moderators are Peter Annin, director of the Mary Griggs Burke Center for Freshwater Innovation and author of "Great Lakes Water War," and Andy Buchsbaum, lecturer at the U-M Law School and former member of the Compact Development Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
